One of the unexpected joys of house sitting in Adelaide at this time of year is the incredible display of flowers. I am very aware that many areas in the world have great flowers come spring. However this is where we are, and they are wonderful. The above photo is the view out our bedroom window each morning. A great way to start the day.
As we usually go out for a couple of outings a day around the neighbourhood it is impressive to see how the people in this area take pride in their yards.
