On our final night in Singapore we made our way to the highest rooftop bar in the world, 1 Altitude.1 Altitude is on the 63rd floor and looks out over Singapore in all directions. The $35 ticket gets you to the highest bar in the world and gives you two drinks as well. A heck of a deal if I do say so myself.After a rather apocalyptic looking sunset we relaxed and waited for the 8:30 light show from the Marina Bay Sands.A very pleasant surprise at the top was the friendly bar staff and excellent drinks that awaited us.
Bearing in mind that the Marina Bay Sands is a 200 metre tall building, we had a grand view of the light show they put on a couple of times every night. Yes it sucks that they charge you to go up, but seriously, highest bar in the world and two quality cocktails for $35. That is a deal you simply cannot pass up.
