As I write this we are flying home to Canada on an Air Transat flight. I have to tell this part of the story first simply because I am truly enjoying the moment very much right now. Karen managed to get us booked onto this flight in Priority Club seating instead of the normal cattle club (economy) seating. We did the cattle club seating the last time we flew home from Europe so allow me to say, if you can afford it, book it. On Air Transat Priority Club was still cheaper than Economy on Air Canada and oh my God it is great. Right from being able to bypass the long check in lines, to boarding early, and holy cow the leg room! Preflight drinks and extra pillows. Complimentary drinks and time for social interaction with the flight attendants, I love it. I know this makes me sound like one of “those“ people, but it is what it is, bloody wonderful for a long flight like this.
- Beautiful fountains abound around the City.

But I am ahead of myself. Karen and I had a wonderful last day in Lisbon. After a leisurely morning we headed over to the Oceanarium, which is one of the largest aquariums in the world. It was built for the 1998 World Expo.

We had dinner at a great restaurant, Hippopotamus. They had an excellent menu, fantastic chocolate dessert and outstanding service.
A fantastic trip. Oh, and did I mention the flight back is great? I even managed to get a short massage from the flight attendant. He was very attentive to our every need.
Until next time.
